    I really loved this place. There was quick and friendly service. It has a cool interior. Makes me feel like I am back in Sacramento.

    Great bar with that home-town feel. Parking can be challenging when it's really busy. Food is tasty, drinks are cold.

    Great dive bar. Friendly service. Some of the best bar food in the area for the price. They always have specials plus a good number of options on their menu. Their wings, nachos and reuben sandwiches I would recommend to anyone. They also carry the tickets for professional sports and are happy to change the tv's to accommodate you. Only negative is its size. When busy, especially if there is a band it can get a bit tight and parking can be a bit tough. Other than that, I would always recommend if you are looking for a laid back place to relax with a friend.

    Met last-minute for a friends b-day dinner here. We had superb food while listening to local cat Nate Myers jam with his band! We gave orders to 2 separate staff throughout the night, but food & drinks arrived OK and it was all OK on the check when we asked to cash out! Great teamwork and warm atmosphere at the Grotto. Definitely a place to keep in mind for sports, too, as there is always a fun time when The Game is on.
